About the Role:

Furniture Mart is looking for a reliable and hardworking Furniture Delivery Driver to join our team in Gretna, LA! In this role, you'll be the face of our company, delivering quality furniture and exceptional service directly to our customers' doors. If you take pride in your work and love being on the move, this is the opportunity for you!

Responsibilities:

Safely load, transport, and deliver furniture to residential and commercial customers.
Unload and assemble furniture in customer homes with care and professionalism
Inspect deliveries for damage before and after transport, documenting any issues
Communicate with customers regarding delivery windows, arrival times, and any updates
Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked delivery vehicle
Follow all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies

Requirements:

Valid Chauffer’s license with a clean driving record
Previous delivery, moving, or logistics experience preferred
Ability to lift and carry heavy furniture (50–100+ lbs) with or without assistance
Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to navigate local routes efficiently using GPS and maps
Punctual, dependable, and detail-oriented work ethic
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends

Compensation: $40,000.00 - $48,000.00 per year
