Job Summary
Furniture Mart is seeking a friendly and service-oriented Retail Associate to join our team! As Inside Sales Associate, you will assist customers with their shopping needs and ensure an excellent shopping experience. Responsibilities may include working the register, closing sales, processing inventory, and maintaining the store’s appearance. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in customer service and knowledge of cash register operation.
Responsibilities
- Greet each customer with a smile and provide assistance while they are shopping
- Follow all safety and loss prevention procedures.
- Operate POS system
- Collect payments by cash and credit card
- Take added responsibility for stocking, inventory, and store maintenance.
- Develop and maintain solid product knowledge in order to best help customers with their selections.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read, count, write, and communicate clearly and effectively
- Understanding of sales techniques and best practices in customer service
- Willingness to work well in a team environment
- Ability to quickly and accurately work a register
- Ability to work weekends
Compensation: $30,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
