About the Role:
Join Furniture Mart in Gretna, LA, as a Retail Furniture Sales Associate and help our customers transform their living spaces! This exciting role offers the opportunity to showcase your passion for home decor while providing exceptional service in a friendly, supportive environment.
Responsibilities:
- Engage with customers to understand their furniture needs and preferences.
- Provide expert product knowledge to guide customers in making informed decisions.
- Assist customers with the selection, purchase, and delivery of furniture items.
- Maintain an organized and visually appealing sales floor.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and enhance customer experience.
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently using POS systems.
- Stay updated on the latest trends in furniture and home decor.
- Follow up with customers post-purchase to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant retail experience is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for home furnishings and interior design.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Proficient in using point-of-sale systems and basic computer skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Positive attitude and a team player mentality.

Compensation: $40,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
