About the Role:

Join Furniture Mart as a Non-CDL Furniture Delivery Driver and be a crucial part of our team delivering quality furniture to our valued customers in Gretna, LA. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you can showcase your driving skills and customer service expertise.

Responsibilities:

Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport furniture to customer locations.
Load and unload furniture items with care to prevent damage.
Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries and installations.
Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery schedules and updates.
Assist with assembly and setup of furniture in customers' homes.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of delivery vehicles.
Complete delivery paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.
Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies while on the road.

Requirements:

Valid Chauffeur's license with a clean driving record.
Previous experience in delivery or driving roles preferred.
Ability to lift heavy furniture items (up to 75 lbs) safely.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Basic knowledge of furniture assembly and installation is a plus.
Must be team-oriented and able to work well with others.

Compensation: $38,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
