About the Role:

Furniture Mart in New Orleans, LA is looking for a hardworking and dependable Retail Furniture Stockroom Associate to join our team! In this hands-on role, you'll be the backbone of our showroom floor — keeping inventory organized, product moving, and customers happy. If you love staying active, working with a team, and taking pride in a job well done, this is the opportunity for you!

Responsibilities:

Receive, unload, and process incoming furniture shipments and deliveries
Organize and maintain stockroom inventory for efficient product retrieval
Pull and stage furniture orders for customer pickup and floor display
Assist sales floor associates with moving and assembling furniture pieces
Ensure stockroom is clean, safe, and compliant with safety standards
Assist in sales as needed

Requirements:

Previous stockroom, warehouse, or retail experience preferred
Ability to lift and move heavy furniture items (up to 75 lbs or more)
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periods
High school diploma or GED preferred

Compensation: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
