Job Summary

Furniture Mart is seeking an energetic and motivated Retail Stockroom Associate to join our team. In this position, you will support store operations by receiving shipments, processing orders, and storing/organizing inventory. You will assist on the sales floor as needed and do occasional light deliveries.

Responsibilities

Process incoming shipments in a neat and organized fashion
Pull stock to fulfill and prepare orders for customer pick up
Ensure orders are accurate and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction
Inspect incoming shipments for any damages, defects, or errors
Load and unload as needed
Occasional light deliveries
Assemble furniture
Assist on sales floor as needed
Stockroom and showroom maintenance

Qualifications

High school diploma/GED is preferred
Must have clean driving record
Previous experience working in a warehouse setting is preferred
Ability to use warehouse equipment and hand trucks
Capable of standing for long periods and lifting heavy objects
Ability to work with limited supervision
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to assemble furniture

Compensation: $28,000.00 - $38,000.00 per year
